Wal-Mart Commercial "Visit" TV On set 8-10-09 Jamie Stand-in role for Jamie. Lots of camera time but will not be seen in final commercial. Good experience listening to Director and responding to camera and set commands.

I might post photos of Jen on set, but not allowed to mention who is in the movie

or where it was filmed. Maybe once it's out, I can post more...?

Interview June 9, 2008

Joshua will be interviewing to be a possible photo double for one of the principle

characters on Heroes. If chosen, he will film on June 11 and 18 in Hollywood.

Update: Didn't get this one. The Director (?) came around the corner, asked the boys

their names, they lined up and said their name. He tapped two of the five boys on

the head and said "this one and this one" and he walked away!

Interview #2 ~ November 24, 2008

This interview was for a photo double for young Syler.

Lots of misinformation and the outcome was the same...he didn't get the part.

The child who showed up 20 minutes late got the part actually and this was a

source of frustration for a few of us who showed up an hour early!

But the show must go on and it does!

Will we try for 'Heroes' anymore? Probably not.

But, no hard feelings about it either.

Our first commercial and our first job with Hallie! This was a strange day though.

It started with our call time being changed from 12pm to 1pm but we were already in

Los Angeles on the freeway when the text came. So Josh and I ended up spending

a total of the first 4 hours sitting in the parking lot at base camp. Thank goodness for

Game Boys!

We didn't even see Adrianna and Hallie until around 3pm or later. Hallie's

call time was 10am and she did school and one scene before we saw her. Eventually,

we all ate and made it to set. Parents sat outside, kids filmed in a classroom out of our

view. That makes the day longer when you can't see the action! During downtime, the

Game Boys came out and the occasional book. Long strange day.

Jennie and I stayed overnight in L.A. for this trip. Monday she filmed "Good Behavior"

and Tuesday (June 17, 2008) was her recall (day 2) of "Fence Walker". Since

call time for "Fence Walker" wasn't until 5pm, we went to Disneyland in the afternoon

for 3 hours to kill time. Uncle Steven made that possible.

"Good Behavior" was filmed at a high school. In the classroom, there was a

Barbie doll hanging by the neck on the back wall by the teacher's desk. Hmmm.

We, the parents, stayed in the room while they filmed huddled to the side wall.

The camera was going down the hall, peeking into the classroom so we were out

of view. Only the teacher (extra) and kids were seen! Two boys were randomly

picked in the middle of the shoot to do a more featured role. Lucky guys!

Jennie did great! When the teacher accidentally bumped into the desk when he

turned and the desk scooted making a funny noise, she didn't start laughing or

lose concentration on her scene! Great job, Jen!!
