Yes, Joshua has joined the Cub Scouts!
First event? Last Friday (Sept. 18) Joshua and dad went to their first official Cub Scouts event: the Raingutter Regatta. They had built the sailboat the previous week and now it was time to race.
Josh could not touch the boat once it was in the water. He had to blow through a straw onto his sail to make it move down the water-filled gutter! He won!
He came in first place for his den then went against all the other den winners (different ages). He came in 2nd place over all. Way to go Joshua!
The moral (and their motto)? Always do your best!
Jennie's violin lessons are going well and she is
also having fun with her theatre group, MET2.
They will perform "Beauty and the Beast" in November.
And that is definitely the latest!
