"ACTION!!"

2:30am - wake up

3:55am - leave for Burbank

5:55am - arrive on the set

We ate some breakfast they provided, then checked in at the "Police Dept" which was actually

the holding area for the extras.  I don't know what time we started filming, because we had to go to wardrobe

and back and forth to the holding area.

I know I'm in the wedding scene.  I was wearing a purple shirt and stood at the bottom of the stairs as the

bride and groom came bursting out of the chapel.  We threw rice and cheered loudly!  In the photos above,

Jennie is standing in the same spot I was when the adults did the same scene.  I don't know if you will see

me though.  The camera zoomed in for a close-up on the bride and groom.  I was behind them at that time.

Those near me were wearing greys, tans and mostly subdued colors, so they said in order to remember

where they were in the film, they will just look for the "chick in the purple shirt" (me) and then

they will see themselves next to me!

They kept moving me around:  first I was supposed to walk with another extra named Brian in a

suit across the park near the gazebo.  Then they said since we were both previously in the wedding scene,

to move us back to the chapel.   Soon after, they moved me and Lisa to the bench (pictures above).

Our instructions were "count to 20 then get up, walk in front of the ice cream cart talking to each other,

go up into the gazebo and stop, but keep talking to each other!"

Boy was it cold!  And those heels were killing my feet after several hours of walking in them!  Of course, there

was 'down' time.  Our bench sequence took two hours!  Lisa  and I got to know each other pretty well!

At that time, my daughter and hers were becoming good friends!  Then it was the kids turn.

Every scene the adults did, the  kids did, too!  So, when we finished (freezing) outside, it was the

kids' turn and that took quite awhile - 'down' time for us!

All in all, it was a fun first experience!  We look forward to the next job!  It will most likely be just Jen and Josh

though - not me.  This was a special event that included the parents!  Hooray for Hollywood!
